Description
You will be picked up by an open-air truck “safari-style” from your hotel in Punta Cana and once arrived at the ranch will be greeted by the tour guides. After receiving brief safety instructions, the adventure starts.
You will have a great time driving through the mud and trying the local coffee and cocoa. You will get very dirty, totally covered in mud.
You’ll swim in a really cool cave (Hoyos del Salado) and go to Macao beach which is so beautiful. These two stops are definitely the best part of this excursion. The tour’s around 4/5 hours of time including the hotel transfer with 2.5 hours driving time. You get to see the real Dominican countryside. This tour is extremely enjoyable and a great learning experience and it’s guaranteed fun.
Once you get back to the ranch you can have a hot shower and check the pictures taken by the photographers before heading back to your hotel in Punta Cana.

What do I need to bring
- Bring swimwear, outdoor clothes, closed shoes (recommended for drivers), bandanna, sunglasses, sunscreen, repellent, extra money for tips and souvenirs

- Not wheelchair accessible
- All buggies have an automatic transmission, so there’s no need to shift. These are banged up buggies that are fun to drive but may break down during the run on Macao’s rugged back roads. Furthermore, they are not built for comfort, instead to get muddy. Mechanics follow the group at all times in case of any malfunction.
- Driver must be 18 years old (minimum). There is no age restrictions on being a passenger
- Not advised for the old and young since the ride is rough and bumpy
- Zigzag or passing other buggies is not allowed for safety reasons
- Do not go in the water if you do not know how to swim
- Tour develops through public roads/places. Don't leave any unattended item at all time
