Description
This awesome day trip will start picking you up from your hotel in Punta Cana to take you to the charming fishing village of Bayahibe where we will board Saona Island. Onboard the catamaran relax on nets or dance to the beat of the local music Bachata and Merengue. At the beach take time to rest on long chairs with a ”Santo libre” (Rum & Sprite) or swim the turquoise warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. On Saona get the taste of a delicious Dominican buffet served for lunch. The island itself offers plenty of lounge chairs on the beach, lots of souvenir shacks, and the most beautiful scenery. Lunch is included and you will have the opportunity to taste lobster spaghetti, pasta salad, potatoes, Russian salad, white rice and vegetables, grilled chicken and pork, tropical fruit, french bread, coffee, and local drinks. A bar will be also available for drinks and all typical music.
After taking time at the beach (around 2 hours) your next destination is the natural pool. Aboard speedboats, you will get there in racing style to have a cocktail on a sandbank in the middle of the sea and take some pictures with the famous and beautiful huge starfishes. You will spend around 45 minutes here before returning to Bayahibe. This is the chance of a lifetime. A vacation in Punta Cana is not complete without a trip to Saona Island.
