Description

Itinerary

Historical Center

Home to historical monuments dating from the Aztec period, the Historic Center is the heart of the city. Located around the massive El Zócalo plaza, the area draws tourists to iconic museums and buildings, such as the art nouveau-style Palace of Fine Arts and the Metropolitan Cathedral.

Tlatelolco

Tlatelolco is an area now within the Cuauhtémoc district of Mexico City, centered on the Plaza de las Tres Culturas. Its archaeological history extends to remains from the 15th and 16th centuries, as well as more recent colonial structures

Teotihuacan

It will visit the archaeological zone of Teotihuacán, has been of interest for the societies after the decline of Teotihuacan culture in Mesoamerica. Its ruins have been explored since pre-Hispanic times, among others, by the Toltecs and the Mexicas. The discovery of Teotihuacan objects in the archaeological sites of Tula and the Templo Mayor de México-Tenochtitlan confirms this. In post-classical Nahua mythology, the city appears as the setting for fundamental myths such as the legend of the Suns of the Mexica.

Basilica de Guadalupe

The Basilica of Santa María de Guadalupe, officially called Insigne and National Basilica of Santa María de Guadalupe, is a sanctuary of the Catholic Church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary in its dedication of Guadalupe, located at the foot of the Cerro del Tepeyac, It is the enclosure Mariano most visited in the world, surpassed only by the Basilica of San Pedro.
