Sirmione Castle, a visit not to be missed in Sirmione on Lake Garda! The Scaligero castle of Sirmione is a fortress of the Scaligera era, the access point to the historic center of Sirmione. It is one of the most complete and best preserved castles in Italy, as well as a rare example of a marine lake fortification. The Bellavista hill, a fascinating panoramic point that embraces Lake Iseo and the Po Valley, is the site of the Erbusco winery of the same name. The cellar is an articulated structure that integrates at the same time with the surrounding landscape, framing the landscape with a stone arch that characterizes the outdoor space. Built inside the hill with two main galleries covered in terracotta, it respects the territory thanks to the naturalness of its visual impact. The main body in glass and wood, in fact, allows a constant dialogue between inside and outside, while all the service structures of the cellar are totally masked by a luxuriant vegetation.
