The oldest area in Tijuana without question is Downtown for being one of the first area to be build in the city and you can realize very simple just walking around and seeing the architecture of the buildings it's a match between classic vs modern, that's some stuff than you going to see and realize in the tour while the tour guy is telling stories and fun facts about the area that you are walking, even you can go to see the oldest market in the city, the typical market that people used to see in movies, you can buy some mexican candies in the market, after that you can go to a local modern market that its run almost by young people, you can find coffee shops, breweries and because its Tijuana a Dentist Office, you can go to he MuHTi the Museum of History of Tijuana where they always have art expositions that they change every season so that will be a surprise, but one of the best stuff in downtown besides craft beer and tacos it's the murals that you will see everywhere, someone's telling stories about the city, otherones mexican traditions, but all are unique, after seeing downtown you can enjoy some nice mexican food with a cold craft beer
