Description

Surfing is ideal for kids as well as grownups. Under the close guidance of our surf coaches, you will get up and ride your first wave much sooner than you may think, be part of the tribe of the sea!! Arriving at the starting point, we will give you step-by-step instructions to make your experience as fun as it is safe. We guarantee that in a couple of hours, you will become part of the tribe of the sea. During our return, we'll talk about those waves you managed to ride and how you felt during the experience. We all come from the sea. This is a good time to resume contact with him to understand it and appreciate it.

Itinerary

Carretera transpeninsular San jose - Cabo San Lucas

Transportation will be for you at your meeting point, hotel, villa, or Airbnb. We will travel along the road where you will enjoy the journey to Cabo San Lucas - San Jose del Cabo until we reach Playa Costa Azul.

Playa Costa Azul

All the beaches in Los Cabos are surprisingly beautiful, and Costa Azul is no exception, the Puente Costa Azul stream locates this beautiful surfing beach at Km 29 of the Transpeninsular Highway, known for its best waves and the best surf spots.

Playa Pescadito

Pescadito Beach the safest place to practice surf, the beach is safe and comfortable for its visitors.

Important information

AVAILABILITY:

  • 15th of March – 15 of November (summer months)
  • If you’re looking for Cabo surf lessons during the winter season (15th of November to 15th of March), then check out our Surf Lessons at Cerritos Beach – this is where we move our surfing classroom to during winter for lack of waves at Costa Azul throughout those months.

DEPARTURE TIME:

  • Choose between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • We recommend the 9 a.m. tour as historically there’s more wind in the afternoons.

DURATION: 

  • 3 hours (2 hour tour + transfer time)

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Participants must be at least 6 years old.

HEALTH RESTRICTIONS:

  • This activity is not apt for individuals with back problems, expectant mothers or serious medical conditions.
  • Please note that this tour is not wheelchair accessible.

QUESTIONS:

  • When the weather conditions are not favorable is a refund made? Your safety is our priority. When the conditions are not favorable, due to wind, high waves, or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund.
  • What's your cancellation policy? For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No-shows or last-minute cancellations will be charged in full. This experience requires good weather.
  • Do I need prior surfing experience to take these surf lessons? No prior experience is required! Our classes are designed for all experience levels, from beginners (we teach you enough to catch a wave) to experts (we offer coaching), always ensuring a great experience at each level as needed.
  • How many guides are there per surfing class? For every 3 people in a class, there will be 1 guide/coach.
  • What kind of surfboards are used in the lessons? We use foam boards for our surf lessons. If you prefer a fiberglass surfboard please be sure to request this in advance at the time of booking.
  • Is the price the same for children and adults? Yes, prices are the same for both children and adults. If we have children participating we always aim to have an extra guide for supervision. When you book your surf lesson, please specify whether the participants are children.
  • Can I go and watch my child/partner/friend during the surf lessons? To join the lesson as an observer you have to book a non-surfer/companion spot on our transport. The non-surfer/companion fee includes round-trip transportation, shaded camp (umbrellas and chairs), bottled water, and snacks.
