An amazing 2-hour guided tour in the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica to discover two symbols of Piazza San Marco.
The tour starts in the imposing Doge’s Palace from where the Doge ruled the Venice Republic.
Admire the Golden, staircase and the many breathtaking artworks. You’ll walk through The Bridge of Sighs to reach the prisons!
Then you will enter in the breathtaking Basilica of Saint Mark, known as the Golden Basilica. The guide will bring you to admire the Pala D’oro and the stunning mosaics. The only tour there you can enjoy part of the visit comfortably seated in the middle of the cathedral.

- The meeting point is at Venice Tours Assistance Point in St. Mark's Square, Calle Larga Ascensione #1257.The Assistance Point is the big grey newsstand between Fendi boutique and Poste Italiane (Post Office) with a sign "VENICE TOURS – ASSISTANCE POINT".
- Tour does not operate in case of exceptional high tide or in case of unplanned religious functions (in these cases it can be postponed to the day after otherwise it will be refunded)
- For the visit of the Basilica suitable clothing is required (no shorts)
- For security reasons suitcases, backpacks or large bags are not allowed inside the Basilica and inside the Doges’ Palace, prior to your visit you must deposit them at the Ateneo San Basso (St. Mark’s Square- Calle san Basso). The storage service is free of charge, but please allow sufficient time!
- Comfortable shoes suggested.
